The One-Hand Cheatsheet
16 things to check, on your phone, in about four minutes. Tick the ones your site already does and leave the rest. Whatever is still unticked at the bottom is your list.
Take it away and use it. Nothing to fill in, no email, and if your site comes out fine it will say so and I will not ask you for anything.
Can they find their way around?
Can they see your service or your product?
Can they get through it without giving up?
Can they get hold of you in one touch?
Your count appears here.
Work down the list on your phone and tick what your site already does. Whatever is left unticked is the list worth doing something about.
None of them are mine. They are Google's and the W3C's, they are free, and you can check every one against your own site without asking me anything.

Google's own report on your own URL. Free, no sign-up, and you can run it on a competitor while you are there.
Google PageSpeed InsightsQuote all 16 if they are useful to you. Reprint them, rewrite them, put them in a newsletter, hand them to a client. No permission needed and nothing to fill in. A link back is the only ask, and it is an ask rather than a condition.
Each check has its own address if you want to point at one of them: the numbers on the list run #check-1 to #check-16.
